1.For support our educational activities, MathWorks Japan has donated the Foundation for Mongolian Culture. The all members and directors deeply appreciate for the warm support from the MathWorks Japan.
2.On June 16, 2016, Dr. Bao Lianqun, the director of our foundation, visited Yufu City of Oita Prefecture, handed over the contributions which collected from the members and directors of MUSS for support the residents who affected by the Kumamoto Earthquake. We hope that it will be useful for the restoration and reconstruction of the disaster area.
3. On October 29, 2016, 14:00-18:00, the 27th Academic Conference organized by MUSS, sponsored by Showa Women's University Institute of International Culture was successfully held in 3S41 Room, No.2 East Building of Showa Women’s University.
4. The 4th cultural exchange meeting was held in Tama Campus of Tama University, on November 12-13, 2016. In this meeting, we issued the first “MUSS Award “to the Mongolian Children’s Group in Japan. We were so happy to see the smiles of Mongolian children who awarded.
5. On November 19, 2016, we successfully held our 11th Charity Concert in Kodaira Citizens Cultural Hall.
6. December 3, 2016, the 8th assembly of MUUS was held in Tokyo.
On the assembly, after introduction of MUSS by Mr. Munkhdelger, the former president of MUSS, president Mr. Has Baator delivered activities report and director Mr. Munkhbaatar gave financial report of last two years of 7th Board with questions and answers. Mr. Has Baator proposed the amendment of the Articles of MUSS and approved by the board members with unanimity. After declaration of dissolution of the 7th Board, temporal election committee was formed and conducted election for the candidates of the 8th Board member, elected new 25 directors of the 8th Board. After recommended by the directors of 8th Board, Mr.Has Baator was re-elected as 8th president of MUSS.
